Not every job is or has to be difficult. The installation of these simple stationary Roman shades was quite straight forward. The biggest concern, after having the client settle on a height of the shades, was getting all to line up properly at the top. This is a function of precise measurement. The shades are hung on 2” white angle irons that are mounted directly to the wall. If you’re lucky then you will find wooden studs for driving your screws into in the walls where you want to place the hardware. If not then expanding hollow-wall anchors are the fastener of choice. The final touch is adjusting the cords of the shades so that the bottom corners and folds line up.
